Here's what the job entails

The ideal candidate shares our desire to joyfully serve others, takes pride in the quality of their work, has a pleasant “can-do” attitude, and isn't afraid to jump in and make things happen. This role includes supporting the team lead (a broker with 25 years of experience) in the day-to-day management of his personal real estate transactions and overall management of the team business.

Duties vary, but include:

  • removing distractions so the team lead can focus on generating new business and closing sales,
  • providing an executive level of administrative support such as phone and email management, calendar organization, task management, and keeping the team lead focused on key tasks,
  • setting appointments, showing homes, writing offers, holding open houses, preparing CMAs, and assisting with transactions,
  • preparing and coordinating listings to go on the market,
  • providing concierge-level assistance to buyers and sellers,
  • nurturing relationships with past clients,
  • office and database management,
  • generating and managing business leads,
  • tracking business productivity,
  • assisting with events,
  • aiding other team members,
  • implementing, managing, and streamlining systems and procedures, and
  • providing input on team goals and implementing team vision.

Involves some evening and weekend work.

Required experience and qualifications

-- An active Texas real estate license is REQUIRED

-- General understanding and knowledge of the real estate sales cycle and managing transactions

-- 1+ years of real estate experience as an assistant, administrator, transaction coordinator, listing coordinator, or agent

-- This not a virtual position, so applicant must live in the Austin area

-- Must have reliable transportation and car insurance

-- Familiarity with KW systems is preferred

-- Familiarity with Compass tools is preferred

-- Familiarity with Follow Up Boss is preferred

Salary and benefits

Salary is competitive and based on experience

Benefits include paid holidays and 10 days of paid time-off

Hours can be flexible with range  between 30- 40+ hours per week, M-F
