Two Allandale homes you should know about
Lauded as the third best neighborhood in Austin by Austin Monthly magazine, Allandale is one of Austin’s hottest Central neighborhoods, so when homes go on the market they tend to sell fast. Right now there are two homes in Allandale that I'm excited to tell you about. Both feed into Gullett Elementary, and they are great values.
Our personal favorite because of its potential and future equity is 7510 Daugherty. At $515,000, this property is a fixer-upper. It has large rooms, good bones, and the potential for some great spaces. By the numbers this could sell for $665,000 (around $325 a foot) or more once it has been updated (depending on the quality of finish out). This classic Allandale beauty is on the corner of a partial cul-de-sac, and you can walk to Burnet Road in under 5 minutes to grab a quick bite to eat at Taco Deli or El Chilito or Buffalina Due.
We also have a little crush on 5915 Bullard Drive. This 4 bedroom, 2 bath home has been fully remodeled and backs to Shoal Creek. The beauty of the home isn't fully captured in the pictures. While the design is a bit formulaic, the floor plan is highly functional. At $769,000, home has a private backyard given the way it backs to Shoal Creek with a nice view of an outcrop of rocks on the opposite creek bed.

Beautiful one story home, updated to maintain its vintage charm, in the heart of Allandale...
If you'd like to see either of these great properties, just write me back and we'll get it scheduled. No obligation, no BS. And if you happen to know of any Allandale homeowners who are thinking of selling but haven't put their home on the market yet, please let me know. We'd love to put our Central Austin expertise to work for them.
Cheers,
Paul
